The Pumpkin Patch Express Returns! Climb aboard for some spooky fun during the 2026 Pumpkin Patch Express happening October 17-18, and 24-25. This event is family friendly and happens at the Western Pacific Railroad Museum in Portola. The museum opens at 10 am and trains depart hourly starting at 1 pm to 5 pm.

SPOOKY NIGHT TRAINS on Saturdays, October 18 & 25 with trains departing at 7 pm till 8:30 pm. Ride the train to the pumpkin patch to buy pumpkins (pumpkins extra price). View special exhibits and enjoy some Halloween fun. Admission is free for FRRS members. Non-member admission is $20 per carload, or $15 with the donation of 4 non-perishable canned goods for EPCAN - Portola’s Food Bank.
