The Western Pacific Railroad Museum took advantage of recent snowfall to fire up their Southern Pacific rotary MW208 and its snail MW2881 for a training session, Saturday, February 25.
Motive power was Western Pacific SW1500 1503, a far cry from its original job of switching WP yards in San Francisco and Oakland. The event was even featured on KTVN Reno Channel 2 here.
Much thanks to Big Fish Creations for the video!
