Quincy Sparkle Event Shines this Holiday Season

Shining bright, the 22nd Annual Quincy Main Street Sparkle & Light Parade is set to kick off the holiday season this year in downtown Quincy on Friday, December 2rd. From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m you can celebrate the magic of the season with the Downtown Merchants Open House, a beautiful Sparkle Light Parade, the man himself, Santa and his Elves, music, entertainment, and feature event, the Downtown Tree Lighting! All Aboard the Santa Train

Catch a ride either Saturday, December 3rd or 10th on the Santa Train at the Portola Railroad Museum at 4:30 - 8 pm. Take a ride, $5 per car load, around the rails and visit with Santa to tell him all your wishes for Christmas, then enjoy hot chocolate and refreshments. An experience kids of all ages enjoy! The Graeagle Holiday Festival & Cheer

Celebrating a local tradition, the 17th annual Graeagle Holiday Festival in downtown Graeagle will happen this Saturday, December 3rd from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. All events are free at this old-fashioned Christmas festival & tree lighting. Come enjoy the spirit of Christmas, visit the little red shops, enjoy refreshments, have your picture taken with Santa and take a ride through town in a decorated horse drawn trolly. Hear the carolers sing and bring lots of good cheer! One of the most charming Christmas events this side of the Sierra. Christmas Candlelight in Johnsville

On Saturday, December 3rd in Johnsville, A Christmas Candlelight Chorus will sing songs of the Holiday, 7 – 9 p.m., at the Old St. John's Church. Madrigal singers Le Panache perform under the direction of John Probst in candlelit ambience, weather permitting. Refreshments following the performance. The event has limited seating and supports Johnsville Historical Society. Tickets are $20, available at Epilog Books in Quincy, Eco Centric in Graeagle. Graeagle Church Holiday Home Tour

Homes for the Holidays, a tour featuring six homes hosted by the Graeagle Community Church happens Saturday, December 10th from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. The fee is $12 per person, and features beautiful homes, warm welcomes and door prizes. This event benefits the Graeagle Community Church youth mission trip overseas. You just can't miss it! Tickets available in Graeagle at Millworks.
