Our mom and dad live up there. We just wanted to
say hello. We were here looking for 4th of July

I have spent many years enjoying Graeagle and the
Mohawk valley. My Grandfather Louis Vann, worked
at the sawmill for many years. My Granparents met
at the Grand Hotel in Blaisden. My father grew up
on the hill in one of the red and white houses,
and still ownes property in Mohawk. Myself, my husband,
and our daughter spent the 4th of July weekend at
his cabin. It was the most wonderful vacation we
have had. Even with the Graeagle store packed, the
folks there were friendly and courteous. The fireworks
were AWESOME!!!!! We really enjoyed the smilie faces.
On Sunday, the Graeagle stables were our venture
for the day. And my daughter who is 8 years old
and who has never been on a horse before, was so
thrilled. Well once she got on the horse, she was
terrrified. Well, Sue, was so very wonderful to
stay with my daughter while on the ride. And by
the time the ride was over, my daughter no longer
had any fears. And the smile on her face was the
highlight of our weekend. So if anyone has any doubts
on how wonderful the people who now inhabit the
town of Graeagle are, well they are wonderful and
they will treat you like a good friend. I hope to
make th $th of July weekend an anual trip for us.
So we hope to see you all again next year.

Thoroughly enjoyed looking for information and what
the area has to offer. What a great place to vacation.
How is the fishing in the area? My husband/I like
to fish, hike and browse.
