On September 7, artist David Leland Hyde will present “visual stories of a fading traditional way of life featuring landscapes, ranches, and farms from 17 states with special emphasis on Plumas and Sierra Counties”at Plumas County Museum starting at 6 pm. The exhibit will be on display at the museum from September 7 to December 29, 2018. Plumas County Museum director Scott Lawson is excited to have the exhibit and said, “it is noteworthy that David’s work will be displayed near his father’s 40x50 darkroom prints which have graced our walls since 1969.”The museum says, “Hyde plans to donate to the museum half of all proceeds from the sale of his fine art prints and other collectibles,”and they’ll be giving away a keepsake gift for the first 50 people to arrive at the opening night. Please contact Plumas County Museum at 530-283-6320 or visit www.plumasmuseum.orgfor more information.
